Glidden Fence Company
What We Do: We Build the Best and Repair the Rest!
At Glidden Fence Company, we build both residential and commercial fences in multiple styles. Installing a fence is a hard thing to do, and it needs to be done right if you want your fence to last more than a couple years. Many fence companies have popped up throughout the years, but none of the other fence companies that were started in Central Indiana have lasted under the same management as long as Glidden Fence because they don't understand the full circle of running a top notch fence company. Check out our fence design gallery for pictures of some of the fences styles that we have built. Contact us when you are ready to set up your free estimate! Wooden Fences
Privacy, Picket, or Custom Styles
We build our wooden fences completely out of high quality Western Red Cedar. Whether you want your fence to be straight across the top or follow the curves of your yard, we can build the fence that you will love. We do not buy our wood materials in pre-made panels, therefore your fence will be built board-by-board on site. This allows us to better follow the grade of your yard if you have a small dog that needs contained, giving you a more complete and effective backyard enclosure. The most common wooden fence styles are shadowbox, board on board, solid panel, and picket fences. We also build framed-in, good neighbor style, and custom wooden fences for customers who want a special touch to their backyard design. If you are interested in having us install a custom wooden fence for you, we can work with you to achieve the perfect fence design that is both decorative and functional.
Ornamental Iron Fences, Gates, and Handrails/Stair Railings
Aluminum and Steel: The New Wrought Iron
We also build wrought-iron style fences, called ornamental, out of Montage (steel) or Echelon (aluminum). Our ornamental materials are manufactured by Ameristar Fence Products company, a company that manufactures high quality aluminum and steel materials. They use a special 360 degree coating process that prevents rust and corrosion. You can visit their website for more information about their products. The most common ornamental fence styles are majestic, which is flat on top, and classic, which has spears/spikes on top. We can also build other styles for customers who want a unique look to their fence, or who need smaller spaces between the pickets to keep in small dogs or puppies.
Vinyl / PVC Fences and Gates
A Maintenance-Free Picket or Privacy Enclosure
We build PVC (poly vinyl chloride) fences out of materials manufactured by Longevity Vinyl products. You can visit their website for more information about their products. The most common vinyl styles are privacy, picket or ranch rail vinyl fences. Many people have a ranch rail fence installed around horse or cattle pastures as a maintenance - free way to keep their animals contained. Some people like to have a vinyl picket fence installed to achieve the classic american dream look, without the maintenance associated with painting a wooden fence. A vinyl fence is also a great option for people who want a privacy fence that is maintenance - free.
Chain Link Fences and Gates
Vinyl Coated or Galvanized
We also offer chain-link fences. Chain-link fences are a great option to keep your yard secure at a lower cost. The most common chain-link fence styles that we build are black vinyl and galvanized chain-link. Chain link fences can be anywhere from 42" to 8 or 10 feet tall and beyond. After a certain height, however, some of the posts need to be upgraded to a higher gauge to ensure that you get the full life out of your fence. We can also install commercial-grade chain link for industrial projects such as parking lots, tennis courts, or even around a baseball field, softball field, or football field.
