Ornamental Iron is the new and improved version of old style wrought iron fences. Our supplier uses a special manufacturing process that prevents the rusted look of wrought iron to allow ornamental iron fences to be the perfect fence for a classic look in your backyard. Wooden Fence Designs

Glidden Fence Company builds the best wooden fences in Central Indiana.  We use only high quality Western Red Cedar, not to be confused with Eastern Cedar or Northern Cedar, for our fences.  Western Red Cedar is a slow-growth lumber that is much more stable, and much less likely to experience warpage. Knockoff cedar lumber is usually pressure treated and crammed so full of chemicals that it is highly unstable and very likely to warp. Unfortunately, if you do not understand the difference between fake cedar and true western red cedar, you may have a less reputable company selling you treated lumber under the guise of cedar.  It is a common practice because treated lumber is much cheaper than true cedar. Treated lumber is also often sold in full pre-fab panels. We never buy our wood in pre-made panels, so we can build a fence to follow the contours of your yard.  Whether you want a simple privacy wooden fence, or a more decorative wooden fence, we can install the fence of your dreams.  Have a fence design in mind that you don't see pictured below?  The best thing about wooden fences is that they can be customized to fit each individual customer's needs.
